Faris Machinery is looking for a Fleet Manager to own company‑wide fleet operations and drive equipment readiness, utilization, uptime, and financial performance across our rental and sales fleet.

What You’ll Own

This is a high‑impact leadership role with end‑to‑end accountability for fleet execution.

Operational Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of fleet assets—from acquisition to disposition
• Drive utilization, uptime, and availability across all equipment
• Manage maintenance schedules, inspections, and repair prioritization
• Coordinate daily with Service, Parts, Yard, and Sales teams
• Oversee dispatch, readiness, and equipment availability for rentals and sales
• Monitor fleet performance, operating cost, and ROI
• Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and company policies
• Lead Fleet Coordinator execution and accountability
• Ensure accurate rental billing and full revenue capture

You’ll be accountable for measurable results, including:

• Fleet Utilization (%)
• Fleet Availability (%)
• Fleet Uptime (%)
• Idle Days Between Rentals
• Repair Turnaround Time
• Rental Revenue per Asset
• Absorption Contribution from Rentals

What You Bring

• Experience managing heavy equipment or rental fleets
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of equipment maintenance
• Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast‑paced, operational environment
• Experience with fleet systems, maintenance tracking, and performance metrics
• A customer‑focused mindset and strong cross‑functional communication skills
