Faris Machinery is growing on Colorado’s Western Slope, and we’re looking for a driven Inside Parts Sales Representative to support our customers, technicians, and field sales team from our Grand Junction branch.
This role is a frontline position in our parts business, focused on responsiveness, accuracy, and helping our customers keep iron running. You’ll work closely with the Market Leader, Customer Solutions Leader, service team, and outside sales reps to deliver best‑in‑class support to contractors, municipalities, and operators across the region.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary inside contact for customer parts inquiries (phone, email, walk‑in)
- Assist customers in identifying correct parts for paving, compaction, and related equipment
- Create and follow up on parts quotes; convert opportunities into orders
- Coordinate closely with Service, Rental, and Sales teams to support jobs in progress
- Manage parts orders, availability, backorders, and ETA communication
- Support preventative maintenance kits and lifecycle‑driven parts solutions
- Maintain clean, accurate documentation in our parts and ERP systems
- Proactively communicate with customers to minimize downtime and delays

- Fast, accurate response times to customer and internal requests
- High quote‑to‑order conversion
- Strong coordination with service workflow and technicians
- Minimal parts errors, returns, or order corrections
- Trusted relationships with repeat customers on the Western Slope
What We’re Looking For
- Inside sales, parts counter, or customer support experience (heavy equipment, automotive, fleet, or industrial preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfort working with technicians, sales reps, and operations leaders
- Heavy equipment, construction, or industrial knowledge is important
