Make a Real Impact. Be Part of Something Exceptional.
We’re looking for a Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) who is excited to become a team player on our team!
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs before they’re spoken, and genuinely cares about creating an outstanding patient experience. If you take pride in excellence, love being part of a high-performing team, and want to grow in your career, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
About The Role
Assist the dentist chairside during exams, restorative procedures, extractions, and other treatments

Perform EFDA procedures as permitted by state law and delegated by the supervising dentist, including but not limited to: placing and finishing restorations, taking impressions and leading the process to seat crowns
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the practice management system
Provide post-operative instructions and follow up with patients as directed
Patient Experience
Set the tone throughout all patient interactions - warm, calm, and professional
Guide patients through each step so they feel informed and at ease
Recognize and support anxious patients with empathy and confidence
Be a steady, reassuring presence throughout every visit

Clinical Operations & Efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked operatory at all times
Communicate proactively with the tream to flag delays, patient concerns, or schedule changes
Support the overall flow of the practice by staying flexible and stepping in where needed
Ensure sterilization and infection control protocols are followed without exception
Team Collaboration
Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and front office staff to deliver a seamless experience for every patient
Communicate clearly and in real time — clinical notes, schedule updates, patient flags
Bring a positive, team-first attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever the team needs you
Participate in morning huddles, team meetings, and practice improvement conversations
Contribute to a culture of learning, consistency, and high standards
What You Bring
Active Expanded Function Dental Assistant certificate and CPR/BLS certification
1 years of EFDA experience in a clinical dental setting preferred
Genuine warmth and a natural ability to make patients feel comfortable and cared for
Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up as a full contributor every day
Clear communicator with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
Success in This Role Looks Like
The doctor is confident, knowing you have everything ready and handled
Patients leave their appointments feeling genuinely well cared for — and they come back
You work proactively with the team with goals of running on time, keeping the office spotless, and rooms are always stocked and ready
Anxious patients leave calmer than they arrived and as a raving fan, because of how you showed up for them
The clinical team moves efficiently and communicates seamlessly, with you as a dependable part of that flow
You are someone the whole practice counts on — clinically sharp, warm with patients, and great to work with
