Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the clinical team, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with restorative, surgical and Implant procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Train and mentor new staff members on clinical procedures, aseptic techniques, and office protocols.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness for daily operations.
- Uphold a clean and organized clinical environment that prioritizes patient safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices.
- Familiarity with medical documentation processes and electronic health record systems such as Open Dental is preferred.
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
