- Lived experience within behavioral health and/or child-serving systems (as an individual, caregiver, or family member)
- 2 years of experience in peer support, behavioral health, child welfare, or a related human services field
- Family Peer Specialist experience preferred
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- FPS and/or CPS Supervisor certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6–12 months with agency support)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to meet Pennsylvania regulatory requirements
- Required clearances:
- PA Child Abuse
- PA State Police
- FBI Clearance
- Supervise and mentor Certified Peer Specialists (CPS) and Family Peer Specialists (FPS)
- Serve in a leadership role, including responsibilities as Lead Family Coordinator
- Ensure services are culturally and linguistically responsive to the populations served
- Support participants in navigating systems, accessing resources, and building life skills
- Use shared decision-making to develop goals and service plans with participants
- Appropriately share lived experience to build trust, connection, and engagement
- Complete documentation, reports, and supervisory records in a timely manner
- Conduct outreach to build referral sources and strengthen community partnerships
- Participate in county, state, and grant-related meetings
- Travel within assigned counties and occasionally out of state as needed
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
- Perform additional duties related to grant-funded services
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and operating office equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and virtually
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 15–25 pounds
- Ability to travel to community locations, including homes and public settings with varying accessibility
