The Inn at Fairview is seeking a compassionate, energetic Activities Assistant to help create meaningful and engaging experiences for our memory care residents.
Schedule
- Variable weekday evening shifts from 4:00–7:00 PM
- Every other Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Position Responsibilities
- Assist with recreational, social and therapeutic activities
- Encourage resident participation and engagement
- Help plan and prepare activity materials and spaces
- Provide one-on-one support and companionship
- Assist with special events, celebrations and outings
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and positive environment
- Work collaboratively with the Activities team and other departments
Position Requirements
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with memory impairment preferred
- Compassionate, patient and dependable
- Creative, enthusiastic and comfortable leading group activities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be available for variable weekday evenings and every other weekend
