What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Fairview Senior Living?
Fairview Senior Living is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff.
Schedule:
- 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
- Every other weekend
Responsibilities Include:
- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Emptying trash and properly disposing of waste
- Restocking housekeeping and resident supplies
- Following established infection-control and safety procedures
- Reporting maintenance concerns or safety hazards
- Respecting residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal belongings
- Working collaboratively with other departments to maintain a welcoming environment
Requirements:
- Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Compassionate and respectful approach when working around older adults
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
- Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is a plus
