Housekeeping Hotel Room Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and an understanding of various cleaning techniques and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Carry out floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning surfaces.
• Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products in guest rooms and public areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to maintain efficient operations.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping roles, preferably within hotel or hospitality settings.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
