Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels with care and efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through carpet cleaning, floor care techniques, and appropriate use of cleaning equipment
• Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces regularly
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest or resident requests and addressing any concerns professionally
• Assist with janitorial tasks such as waste removal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleaning carts in an organized manner
• Support housekeeping management in adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean working environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments is preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests or residents
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely
• Experience with janitorial tools and supplies along with familiarity with safety standards related to cleaning products
• Prior experience in residential cleaning or hospitality settings is advantageous but not mandatory
• A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Pay: $10.50 - $11.00 per hour
