Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Property Engineer to oversee Work Orders and RPM (Reliability Program Management) within a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, and electrical components. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. The Property Engineer will also coordinate with maintenance teams and utilize CMMS tools to manage work orders effectively. Candidates with experience in industrial electrician work, hydraulics, HVAC, welding, and field service are highly preferred. Fluency in English and excellent analysis skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize work orders using CMMS software to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Perform preventive maintenance (RPM) on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), high voltage systems, low voltage controls, and schematics
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on HVAC/R systems, welding projects (
welding), and other industrial machinery - Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical faults
- Utilize field service skills to repair or replace components on scissor lifts and other mobile equipment
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings for accurate troubleshooting
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and work orders for compliance and analysis purposes
- Ensure safety standards are adhered to when working with high voltage or low voltage electrical systems
- Collaborate with customer service teams to address operational issues promptly and efficiently
Skills
- Extensive experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical troubleshooting tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters
- Strong mechanical knowledge including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (
welding), and precision measuring instruments - Demonstrated ability to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management
- Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems; industrial electrician experience is a plus
- Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; relevant certification preferred
- Field service experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is highly desirable
- Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation
- Military background or experience in industrial mechanics is considered advantageous
- Fluency in English required; strong communication skills necessary for effective teamwork
