Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of public areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and elevators to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance.
• Assist with replenishing supplies in guest areas such as towels, toiletries, and amenities to enhance guest comfort.
• Support housekeeping staff by delivering linens, cleaning supplies, and other materials as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of common areas to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Ensure all janitorial equipment is properly maintained and stored after use for safety and efficiency.
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for guests and team members.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly preferred for understanding guest service standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or carpet extractors confidently.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
