What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at Fairfield Inn & Suites?
The front desk receptionist is primarily responsible for handling all guest interactions and going above and beyond to exceed guest expectations. That person will often provide the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for creating an excellent first impression.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly and personable attitude is a must
- Comply with all policies/procedures/standards.
- Register & process guests and handle cash payments, when necessary.
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a neat and presentable front desk area.
- Assist guests with reports of lost/stolen articles, following hotel policy.
- Ensure safety and security of the property and guests.
- Must be professional in appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays
