Basic Function
To assist guest efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all Continental Breakfast functions. Maintain Magnus Hotel Management high standards of service, hospitality, and food safety and sanitation.

Specific Duties
Managerial Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with breakfast brand standards by continually staying updated on program changes and facilitating adaptation.
2. Complete new hire orientation for breakfast attendants of all backgrounds and experiences.
3. Work with managers on applicant related process, including screening candidates, partnering on interviews, making recommendations, etc.
4. Provide assessments to candidates and interpret results to managers.
5. Demonstrate attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all written documents.
6. Managers will be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
7. Demonstrate a positive “can do” attitude and encourage that in employees.
8. Practice safety standards and oversee that all employees are practicing safety standards.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Place orders for breakfast according to hotel’s occupancy needs.
2. Always provide the highest quality of service to the customers.
3. Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.
4. Use guests’ names in all interactions.
5. Promptly respond to all guest-related concerns including but not limited to complaints and special requests.
6. Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures.
7. Proper uniform must be worn at all times in accordance with Magnus Hotel Management and brand standards.
8. Personal cleanliness and neat appearance are required. Shoes must be low heeled and have heels and toes closed.
9. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may from time to time be established by Magnus Hotel Management, is essential to the successful performance of
this position.
10. Prepare, manage, and break down a complete Breakfast according to Magnus Hotel Management and brand standards

11. Ensure freshness of products through proper rotation of stock.
12. Promptly respond to all guest-related concerns including but not limited to complaints and special requests.
13. Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures.
14. Proper uniform must be worn at all times in accordance with Magnus Hotel Management and brand standards.
15. Personal cleanliness and neat appearance are required. Shoes must be low heeled and have heels and toes closed.
16. Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may from time to time be established by Magnus Hotel Management, is essential to the successful performance of
this position.
17. Prepare, manage, and break down a complete Breakfast according to Magnus Hotel Management and brand standards.
18. Ensure freshness of products through proper rotation of stock.
19. Prepare all food items and equipment for display ensuring that proper sanitation standards and procedures are always practiced.
20. Ensure that all local health code requirements are met.
21. Wash hands thoroughly with anti-microbial soap and water for 20 seconds before beginning or returning to work with food or utensils.
22. Use disposable gloves, tongs, or other dispensing devices when handling food.
23. Ensure all toxic and chemical materials are properly segregated and stored away from food, food equipment and paper products.
24. Date and label all food received at the hotel.
25. Approved hair restraints may be required when handling and/or serving food products.
26. Ensure breakfast offering is only available during times posted.
27. Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast prep area

Secondary Responsibilities
1. Manager must ensure that they and all employees adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company including, but not limited to, those contained
in the employee handbook.
2. Keep maintenance personnel informed of all maintenance needs.
3. Be able to move miscellaneous items weighing up to 40 lbs. Ensure proper lifting techniques for all employees.
4. Always store glass containers on a lower shelf below food and paper products.
5. Maintain a monthly inventory of all supplies required to operate the department.
6. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
