We're seeking an Architectural Designer to carry projects from first concept to final walkthrough. This role sits at the center of our design process — equal parts creative talent and technical command — for someone with the invention to imagine what a space could become, the tenacity to carry it through every phase, and the discernment to know which decisions matter most.

This person works across every phase of design, from schematic design through construction, and collaborates closely with firm leadership, consultants, and our in-house construction team.

• Lead the design, technical direction, and documentation of projects through all phases including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
• Bring original, inventive thinking to every project, exploring ideas boldly before refining them into a clear, resolved direction.
• Translate schematic designs into clear, compelling presentations and client communications that bring the vision to life.
• Develop well-coordinated Revit models and construction documents that carry design intent all the way to the field.
• Oversee quality and consistency from concept through construction, ensuring design intent, code compliance, and technical excellence.

• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and the construction team to align project vision, execution, schedules, and budgets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project consultants, driving coordination, tracking responses, and resolving conflicts before they reach the field.
• Follow through relentlessly with consultants and the construction team until every open question, conflict, and detail is resolved.
• Represent the firm in client presentations and professional engagements, building strong, lasting relationships.
• Partner with our construction team to translate creative ideas into practical, buildable solutions.

• Own assigned projects end to end, managing your own schedule, priorities, and deliverables with minimal oversight.
• Exercise sound judgment when weighing design options, consultant input, code requirements, and budget, knowing when to push an idea and when to refine it.
• Mentor and guide project teams, supporting both design excellence and technical rigor.
• Foster collaboration within the studio between architectural designers and interior designers.
• Contribute to studio standards, technical initiatives, and best practices.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (required).
• Typically 4–7 years of professional architectural experience.
• Licensed architect, or actively on the path to licensure.
• Proficiency in Revit (required); proficiency in visualization tools and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Experience working through all phases of design, from schematic design through construction administration.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• A portfolio that demonstrates original, inventive design work alongside resolved technical detailing.
• Proven ability to lead project components and mentor team members.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
