Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, providing detailed product demos when needed
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable items to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and conducting inventory checks to ensure product availability
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls, inquiries, or follow-ups
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays attractively and ensuring store presentation aligns with brand standards
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes excellent customer service
- Handle cash drawer handling accurately, perform basic math calculations for transactions, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership capabilities in a retail setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging product demos and provide exceptional customer service
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge and merchandising techniques
