What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer position at eZone Staffing, LLC?
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Manage technical and support staff in the development of various projects.
- Planning and design of roadway, site development and stormwater projects
- Preparation of Phase I project documents
- Preparation of Phase II plans, specifications, and estimates
- Preparation of engineering reports, drainage studies, safety studies, and other project related documents
- Familiarity with DOT design policy manuals, DOT submittal, and permitting requirements
- Interact with staff members in other disciplines.
- Mentor less experienced staff.
- Interact with our public and private clients.
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- Professional Licensure is required in the State of Illinois
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience is preferred with an emphasis on roadway and transportation related projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microstation/Geopak/Open Roads Designer preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Drainage design experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Project may require physical inspection of the project site.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
