Required:
Required
- Associate degree or higher
- Education (1 years)
- 1 years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Home Health Care
- Epic Home Health
- Home Health
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania (PA)
- ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
Duties
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to new nursing staff, guiding them through clinical procedures and hospital protocols
- Facilitate orientation sessions focused on patient care standards, medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance
- Assess learner progress regularly, offering constructive feedback to promote skill development and confidence
- Demonstrate best practices in critical care, ICU procedures, pediatrics, adult education, and acute care settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions and adherence to safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, competency assessments, and developmental milestones
- Support ongoing professional development initiatives by leading teaching sessions on physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical records management
Qualifications
- Valid RN license with current registration in the applicable state or region
- Extensive clinical experience in critical care environments such as ICU or hospital settings
- Prior experience working in nursing homes or home care environments is highly desirable
- Proven background in teaching hospital settings or adult education programs
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations
- Demonstrated ability to train others effectively while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for teaching and developing others
