Position Overview:
The Clinical Preceptor is responsible for instructing, supervising, and mentoring students during the clinical component of the Medical Imaging Program. This role acts as a liaison between the University and clinical sites, ensuring compliance with program outcomes, accreditation standards, and institutional policies. Under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator and Department Chair, the position includes evaluating student performance, maintaining records, and supporting both clinical and campus-based activities. Additional duties involve assisting program leadership as needed.
Experience:
- Documents two years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline.
Education:
- Graduate of a J.R.C.E.R.T. accredited program.
- Holds academic and/or professional credentials appropriate to the subject content area taught.- B.S. degree in Medical Imaging strongly preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
- Current and valid PA driver’s license.
- Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in radiography.
