What are the responsibilities and job description for the Faculty | Nursing (Open Rank) position at MISERICORDIA UNIVERSITY?
The Nursing Department at Misericordia University is accepting applications for full-time, 10-month, non-tenure track faculty position at our Dallas, PA campus, beginning August 2026. This position may include didactic, lab and/or clinical teaching in graduate and/or undergraduate programs. This is not a remote position; an on-campus presence is required.
Qualifications: A Masters degree in nursing and earned doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNP)
Other qualifications include:
Current unencumbered Pennsylvania RN license
CRNP Certification
Post-secondary teaching experience in nursing
Experience overseeing students in clinical practice settings
Experience teaching nursing students in lab and/or simulation
The Misericordia University Nursing Departments (graduate and undergraduate) are fully accredited by CCNE. Graduate programs include Family Individual Across the Life Span Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner via the MSN, BSN-DNP or Post-Masters Certificate. There is also a DNP program for practicing APRN's. Undergraduate programs include a traditional BS, Part-time evening BSN, and ABSN.
