Extension is seeking a Senior Accountant for a Direct Hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Ripon, WI.

Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and support the month-end close process.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain the accuracy of financial records and reporting.
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including cash reconciliations and vendor invoice coding.
- Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, gathering supporting documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
- Support accounting projects, process improvements, and system conversions or enhancements.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Public accounting experience or experience within a publicly traded manufacturing company preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and SAP is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary Information
$84,000 - $102,000 annually
