Extension is seeking a Production Team Lead for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Butler, WI!
We are seeking a Plastic Production Team Lead to supervise and guide our production team. The ideal candidate has manufacturing floor experience (plastics preferred), thrives in fast-paced environments, and can lead operators effectively without being a senior manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, and guide production personnel to meet daily priorities
- Train and monitor operators to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety
- Manage materials, labor, and shift reports, including machine counts and scrap rates
- Support new job setups and mold sampling in collaboration with Engineering
- Maintain housekeeping and monitor for safety hazards
- Recommend hiring, promotions, and performance objectives
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Manufacturing floor experience required (plastics strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of: Injection molding technology or mechanical principles
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to guide and support production operators effectively
Schedule and Salary
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $24.00 – $26.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | $25.25 – $27.25/hour
- 3rd Shift: Sunday night–Friday morning, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | $26.25 – $28.25/hour
- Onsite in Butler, WI
