Role Summary
The Client Experience Manager is a senior, client-facing leader responsible for developing, managing, and growing long-term client relationships within the custom fabrication, experiential, and scenic environments industry.
This role blends strategic sales leadership, estimating expertise, and operational collaboration to deliver exceptional client experiences from initial engagement through project completion.
This individual must understand how custom fabrication actually works, materials, labor, timelines, estimating, and execution, and be able to translate client vision into executable scope while driving profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Client Development & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts
- Understand client goals and translate them into fabrication-ready solutions
- Proactively identify new opportunities within existing client relationships
- Ensure a consistent, high-touch client experience from concept through delivery
Business Development & Sales Leadership
- Actively pursue and secure new business aligned with ID3’s capabilities
- Leverage industry relationships and networks to generate leads
- Help establish and grow a structured sales and client experience team
- Collaborate with leadership on sales strategy, pricing models, and growth targets
- Represent ID3 at industry events, client meetings, and site visits
Estimating & Pre-Construction Collaboration
- Possess strong working knowledge of custom fabrication estimating
- Partner with estimating and production teams to:
- Scope projects accurately
- Validate budgets and timelines
- Align client expectations with operational realities
- Review estimates for accuracy, feasibility, and margin integrity
- Clearly communicate scope, assumptions, and constraints to clients
Internal Collaboration & Execution Support
- Work cross-functionally with Project Managers, Fabrication, Scenic, Paint, and Installation teams
- Support smooth handoffs from sales to execution
- Address client concerns quickly and professionally
- Advocate for the client while protecting company interests
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is not suited for general sales or account managers without fabrication experience.
Required Experience & Knowledge
- 5 years’ experience in custom fabrication, scenic, experiential, exhibit, themed environments, or related industries
- Demonstrated success in client development and sales leadership
- Strong understanding of:
- Custom fabrication workflows
- Estimating and pricing strategy
- Materials, labor, and production constraints
- Experience working with large, sophisticated clients (e.g., hospitality, entertainment, experiential brands)
- Proven ability to build trust with clients and internal teams
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting hospitality, theme park, or entertainment clients
- Prior leadership or team-building experience within sales or client services
- Familiarity with large-scale, multi-disciplinary fabrication projects
