About the Role:
SUMMARY: The Roll Up Operator is a key member of the manufacturing team responsible for operating roll-up machinery to produce high-quality finished products. This role ensures materials are processed according to specifications and safety standards, monitors machine performance, performs routine maintenance, and collaborates with quality control and maintenance teams to maintain production flow and product integrity.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Operate and monitor roll-up machines to ensure continuous and efficient production.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues to prevent production delays.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to ensure product integrity.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITY
- Strong mechanical aptitude for operating and adjusting machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail for inspecting materials and detecting defects.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably roll-up equipment.

- Familiarity with computerized production tracking systems (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment (preferred).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially packaging or related industries (preferred).
