Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Arvin, CA
Shift: Day Shift
Pay: $70,304 - $90,000 annually
About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our distribution facility. This leadership role is responsible for planning and scheduling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment, supervising maintenance personnel, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the daily activities of the maintenance team.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
- Prioritize maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Maintain accurate parts inventory using inventory management software.
- Order replacement parts and maintain purchase order records.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with production and management teams to minimize downtime.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and training to maintenance personnel.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Instrumentation & Controls, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and equipment repair.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard business software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
