Position Summary
The ERP Production Support Coordinator provides day-to-day support for production employees who use the company’s ERP system. This role serves as the first point of contact for troubleshooting system issues, assisting with data entry and workflow questions, and ensuring employees can effectively use the ERP system in their daily operations.
The Coordinator works closely with production supervisors, employees, and the IT/ERP team to resolve issues promptly, improve system adoption, maintain data accuracy, and identify opportunities to streamline production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for production employees experiencing ERP-related questions or issues.
- Provide real-time troubleshooting and support for ERP system, user-access, and data-entry problems.
- Train and coach production employees on proper ERP functionality, processes, and workflows.
- Document system issues and coordinate technical escalations with the ERP/IT administrator when necessary.
- Monitor ERP usage and data entry for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established procedures.
- Work with production supervisors to identify process challenges and opportunities for improvement within ERP workflows.
- Assist with ERP system testing, updates, configuration changes, and implementation of new functionality.
- Maintain training materials, user guides, standard work instructions, and other ERP-related documentation.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of production areas to proactively identify system or user challenges.
- Support ERP-related projects and process optimization initiatives.
- Communicate system changes and process updates effectively to production personnel.
- Perform other ERP support and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively train, coach, and communicate with production employees at all levels.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing, food production, warehouse, shipping, or other production operations.
- Comfortable working with computers, data entry, and ERP software.
- Ability to learn new software systems and translate technical processes into easy-to-understand instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in production, manufacturing, shipping, warehousing, or a related operational environment preferred.
- Experience with Famous ERP or another manufacturing/production ERP system is preferred.
