Software Technical Specialist

Our client, an established global technology company, is hiring a Software Technical Specialist to join its North American Customer Support team.

Operating for almost 50 years and serving customers in more than 50 countries, the company develops advanced software, smart sensors, and automation solutions that help improve animal wellbeing, product quality, and farm productivity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Computer Science or IT graduate, or a technical-support professional with up to five years of experience, who enjoys troubleshooting software and solving customer problems.

The position is primarily remote, with a preference for candidates based in the Midwest.

In this role, you will:

• Troubleshoot software, Windows, database, and connectivity issues
• Work with basic SQL queries
• Support software installations and upgrades
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, routers, and Wi-Fi
• Support dealers and customers across North and South America
• Receive structured software, application, and hardware training
• Build specialized expertise within an international technology company

We are looking for candidates with:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a similar field
• Basic SQL and database knowledge
• An understanding of Windows, TCP/IP, routers, and Wi-Fi
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility for occasional travel and a rotational on-call schedule
