About Role
In this role you will drive the full sales cycle for complex automated systems projects across the East Coast territory. It is a new position created as part of a strategic reorganization of the U.S. team, reporting directly to the VP of Operations. You will manage multi-stakeholder sales processes involving real estate developers, general contractors, architects, and consultants, focusing on capital equipment sales with extended sales cycles. The position requires approximately 40% travel to client sites with 60% office-based work in Hackensack, NJ, where you will collaborate with a commercial coordinator and sales operations team.
Responsibilities
- Execute the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting and lead qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution for automated mechanical and robotic systems
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including real estate developers, property owners, general contractors, architects, and engineering consultants across the East Coast territory
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, healthcare, and municipal sectors, with particular focus on projects in dense urban environments
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes involving technical presentations, site assessments, and customized solution proposals for capital equipment projects
- Collaborate with the commercial coordinator and sales operations team to ensure accurate project scoping, pricing, and proposal development
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM documentation, providing regular updates on sales activities and market intelligence
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to build brand awareness and generate qualified leads
Requirements
- 5 years of experience executing full-cycle B2B sales
- 3 years of experience selling highly multidisciplinary systems - e.g. elevators/lifts, automated systems, mechanical systems, warehouse automation, intralogistics, or industries involving multidisciplinary systems (control, motion, software integration)
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial instincts combined with hands-on, disciplined execution orientation
- Charismatic and persuasive communicator capable of managing long sales cycles with resilience, persistence, and self-motivation
- Experience selling in the United States market is mandatory, with preference for East Coast territory knowledge
- U.S. work authorization required
