User Acceptance Tester

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and software development sector, is seeking a dedicated User Acceptance Tester to join their team. As a User Acceptance Tester, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: User Acceptance Tester

Location: Montvale, NJ

What's the Job?

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user stories
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality
• Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues
• Document and report bugs, errors, and other issues found during testing
• Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a User Acceptance Tester or similar role
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Prior experience with KPMG is a plus
