- Modify existing databases and database management systems to optimize performance and reliability.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions, specifying identifiers of databases to management systems or guiding others in coding descriptions.
- Collaborate with project teams to coordinate database development, define project scope, and establish limitations.
- Review project requests to understand database user needs and estimate the time and resources required for successful completion.
- Support the development, testing, and validation of Linux-based systems for next-generation products supporting Azure platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field.
- 5-7 years of experience in software development, with recent Linux experience within the last 5 years.
- Experience contributing to open source Linux projects or upstreaming contributions.
- Proficiency with SQL, VisualBasic, and related development software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills.
