Senior Developer Experience Engineer

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Senior Developer Experience Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Developer Experience Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, and a passion for improving software delivery processes, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Type: Contract to hire
• Pay Range: $50-60 hourly W2 (no visa/C2C)
  
  
  

What's the Job?

• Design, build, and maintain tools and infrastructure that support the internal development platform, including container platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation workflows
• Develop, improve, and operate CI/CD pipelines with a focus on reliability, performance, scalability, and test signal quality
• Identify bottlenecks in the development and delivery lifecycle and lead initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve test reliability, and increase deployment confidence
• Analyze delivery and productivity metrics to uncover systemic issues and prioritize impactful improvements
• Partner with application engineering teams to understand workflows, requirements, and pain points, providing guidance on best practices
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and development infrastructure
• Strong understanding of container development, modern software delivery practices, and automation tools
• Ability to analyze metrics and identify systemic issues to drive continuous improvement
• Excellent collaboration skills to work across engineering teams and leadership
• Knowledge of architectural discussions related to tooling, platforms, and delivery systems
