Key Responsibilities
- Import, cleanse, validate, and analyze large-scale upstream operational datasets
- Interpret drilling and completions data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Design and develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Power BI and/or Spotfire
- Present analytical findings through charts, graphs, reports, and stakeholder presentations
- Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and continuous data quality improvements
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions
- Utilize advanced SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing structured datasets
- Support analytics and data engineering workflows as needed
- Communicate technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong experience working with Upstream Oil & Gas data, specifically Drilling & Completions datasets
- Advanced SQL expertise
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or Spotfire (experience with both is highly preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, and operational insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with Databricks and/or Python
- Exposure to data engineering workflows or automation
- Relevant certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, or related technologies
- Senior-level contractor role requiring minimal supervision
