What's the Job?
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks for web services, APIs, middleware, and UI components.
- Collaborate closely with developers to understand application architecture and devise reliable automated testing strategies.
- Implement automation strategies within continuous integration and deployment frameworks to ensure high-quality releases.
- Maintain automation code repositories, test case repositories, and results tracking using tools like JIRA and BitBucket.
- Lead efforts in implementing BDD methodologies using Gherkin, Ruby, and Cucumber to enhance testing processes.
- At least 5 years of work experience in test automation, with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and experience with Object-Oriented programming principles.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, SOATest, and cloud testing infrastructure tools such as SauceLabs.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control, and test management tools including Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, Bamboo).
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality software releases.
