What's the Job?
- Drive gap assessments in packaging material characteristics to support Extended Producer Requirements (EPR).
- Communicate and gather packaging material information from multiple external suppliers.
- Maintain large Excel files ensuring accuracy and completeness for PPWR compliance.
- Execute change orders in Windchill product lifecycle management software affecting manufacturing process documentation, product BOM structure, and specifications.
- Gain cross-functional alignment on updating packaging specifications to support PPWR declarations of conformity or certification of compliance.
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Packaging Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration at multiple organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
