Job Title: Microbiology Consultant

What's the Job?
- Support day-to-day translational research studies and laboratory assay development operations
- Perform DNA extraction, sequencing, and microbiology culturing to generate high-quality data
- Document assay results accurately and contribute to study protocol development
- Establish and optimize end-to-end sequencing workflows and microbiome bioinformatics pipelines
- Collaborate with the clinical laboratory team to ensure compliance with quality standards and GxP regulations
- Experience in DNA extraction, sequencing, and microbiology culturing
- Proficiency in documenting assay results and writing study protocols
- Strong background in biomedical sciences, with a Master’s or PhD preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience with a master’s degree or 5 years with a bachelor’s degree
- Digital proficiency with at least 2 years of experience in laboratory data management and analysis
