What's the Job?
- Prepare and extract samples for GC/MS confirmation in the forensic toxicology laboratory
- Safely operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents, controls, and calibrators in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
- Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
- Maintain a secure and confidential environment for donor information and laboratory data
- Bachelor's degree in biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or a related science
- Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience for Technologist level
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Proficient with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus
- High attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills
