You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data during critical system integrations and transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Validation: Perform rigorous data reconciliation between upstream systems (ADP, Concur, Coupa) and Oracle GL.
- Accounting Integrity: Validate financial data flows, ensuring journal entries and balances (P&L and Balance Sheet) are accurate after transformation.
- Systems Governance: Support Chart of Accounts (CoA) validation, mapping, and governance; execute and support FBDI data loads.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve data "breaks" and discrepancies within the subledgers.
- Testing & UAT: Lead SIT and UAT cycles, including test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and reconciling expected vs. actual results.
- Documentation: Maintain clear audit trails and document validation processes to ensure compliance and financial data governance.
- Accounting Fundamentals: Solid understanding of GL, P&L, and Balance Sheet structures.
- Oracle Expertise: Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud GL is mandatory.
- Data Flow Mastery: Experience with FBDI, data migration, and validating system integrations (Payroll/Expense platforms).
- Technical Tools: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, complex reconciliations) and SQL for troubleshooting and data analysis.
- Testing Background: Proven experience in testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and creating formal validation documentation.
- Experience in large-scale ERP implementations or finance transformation projects.
- Familiarity with SOX controls and financial data governance.
- Experience managing data across multiple entities or complex organizational structures.
