Job Title: Field Technician

What's the Job?
- Perform hardware deployment and maintenance in data centers, including installing servers, storage, and switches in racks.
- Manage the physical racking of equipment, including rack prep, rack and stack of switches/routers, servers, and storage.
- Run fiber, power, and Ethernet cabling, and replace disk drives, HBAs, and memory as needed.
- Diagnose simple hardware issues and facilitate server repairs while managing hardware assets.
- Conduct audits of assets and maintain inventory, ensuring organized processing of packages in and out of the data center.
- Experience in a data center environment is essential.
- Ability to lift 50-70 pounds and move equipment for extended periods.
- Proficiency in both English and the local language in the country of assignment.
- Reliable transportation is required due to the need to move between locations without public transport access.
- Must possess a laptop, cell phone, driver's license, and a basic set of hand tools.
