Engineering Technologist Associate

Our client, a leading organization in the electrical utility industry, is seeking an Engineering Technologist Associate to join their team. As an Engineering Technologist Associate, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting technical analysis and customer impact studies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Technologist Associate

Location: South Bend, IN

Pay Rate: $32.14/hr. PLUS benefits

Job Type: 2-month contract with potential to hire/convert to FTE

Schedule: Onsite M-F

What's the Job?

• Perform engineering circuit analysis studies and customer impact assessments.
• Drive to field locations as needed to verify equipment and gather data.
• Assist in handling routine technical problems under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on tests, equipment performance, and projects.
• Participate in planning meetings related to scheduling, operations, and maintenance activities.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering technology from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license for occasional field visits.
• Basic understanding of engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
