- Monitor alerts generated by data loss prevention technologies to identify potential security incidents.
- Perform initial triage of alerts and escalate issues following established internal processes.
- Draft detailed playbooks and job aids to streamline data loss prevention responsibilities.
- Collaborate with senior data loss prevention leaders to validate incidents and improve security protocols.
- Provide feedback to technologists for policy tuning and prepare metrics for routine reporting on DLP programs.
- Knowledge of Proofpoint, Microsoft Purview, and Island.io security tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail with an inquisitive and analytical mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple data sources.
