Commercial Operations Loans Closer

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Operations Loans Closer to join their team. As a Commercial Operations Loans Closer, you will be an integral part of the Business Banking Operations department supporting the client relationship team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Commercial Operations Loans Closer

Location:Johnston, RI. HYBRID (4 days or less onsite)

Duration: 4 months with the possibility of extension/conversion

Pay Range:$26/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Ensure loans with complex structures or documentation requirements are closed and documented in accordance with credit policies.
• Accurately book loans into the loan accounting system and perform due diligence tasks.
• Review operational risk components and ensure all conditions are met prior to closing or funding loans, focusing on C&I financing.
• Coordinate with sales partners, legal counsel, and clients to clear pre-closing conditions such as environmental reports, appraisals, flood determinations, and title work.
• Manage and reconcile post-closing legal documentation exceptions in compliance with bank policies.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a business or commercial lending environment.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with AFS and Laser Pro is a plus.
