This is a true Functional Business Analyst role (NOT Technical BA nor Project Management)—ideal for someone who thrives on deep analysis, can translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable insights, and confidently partners with stakeholders across business, technology, legal, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze evolving regulatory requirements and assess impacts across business, technology, legal, and operations
- Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine detailed business and functional requirements
- Support regulatory-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with compliance standards and delivery timelines
- Work within defined SLAs and deadlines to produce high-quality analysis and documentation
- Translate complex regulatory language into clear, actionable business insights
- Support regulatory reporting and data analysis efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across CIB and frontline business units
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies tied to regulatory changes
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong background in regulatory and compliance initiatives (U.S. and/or global)
- Experience with regulatory reporting and data analysis
- Solid understanding of financial markets and banking operations
- Proven ability to assess regulatory impact across multiple business functions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage stakeholder relationships
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with financial regulations (U.S. or global regulatory frameworks)
- Prior exposure to Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) or frontline business teams
- Experience supporting enterprise regulatory programs or large-scale compliance initiatives
