- seeking Maintenance Technicians – Level 1 to support the maintenance and day-to-day operation of a large production facility with both office and industrial/plant areas.
This is a hands-on, multi-skilled maintenance role ideal for someone with 1–2 years of commercial, industrial, facility, or building maintenance experience. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, respond to work orders, and handle general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, fixtures, and building systems.
Candidates should be comfortable traveling between the Bland and Atkins, Virginia locations, which are approximately 35 minutes apart.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facility components.
- Respond to and complete maintenance work orders assigned by the Facilities Manager.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs, including leaks, clogged toilets, sinks, faucets, and fixture replacements.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs within the scope of the role.
- Assist with general building and facility repairs.
- Inspect equipment and building systems and identify maintenance issues.
- Support day-to-day maintenance of both office and production/plant areas.
- Use hand tools and basic maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Experience:
- Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)
