About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and technical expertise
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Respond to service calls and provide timely, effective solutions
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repairs, and recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certification preferred)
- Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety standards
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex electrical problems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Experience with residential and/or commercial systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, heights, and varying weather conditions
- Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
- On-site at customer locations (residential, commercial, or industrial)
- May require evening, weekend, or on-call work
