We’re looking for a Plumbing Apprentice that will support licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across construction projects. This role provides hands-on training in plumbing installation methods, tools, and safety practices while developing foundational skills required to progress within the plumbing trade. About The Role

The Plumbing Apprentice works under direct supervision while participating in apprenticeship training programs and gaining practical field experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Plumbing Installation Support
- Assist licensed plumbers with installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Support installation of water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
- Measure, cut, and assemble piping systems and fittings.
- Assist with installation of water heaters, sinks, toilets, and other plumbing components.
- Jobsite Support
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
- Stage materials and assist with preparation of plumbing installations.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Assist plumbers with material handling and equipment setup.
- Safety and Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and plumbing code requirements.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment during work activities.
- Maintain safe work practices in confined spaces and elevated areas.
- Report safety hazards or jobsite concerns to supervisors.
- Training and Skill Development
- Participate in plumbing apprenticeship training programs.
- Develop understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and installation practices.
- Learn to read basic construction drawings and plumbing layouts.
- Build foundational knowledge necessary for career advancement in the plumbing trade.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a plumbing apprenticeship program required.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces or outdoor environments required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
