Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning and scheduling, including development of detailed baseline schedules
- Partner with Superintendents and Project Executives to maintain progress and proactively resolve issues
- Manage all project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and permitting processes
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyouts, and contract negotiations
- Coordinate and implement change orders while ensuring alignment with project scope
- Act as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants
- Prepare and manage budgets, cost reports, and monthly financial projections
- Ensure all field operations meet quality control and safety standards
- Supervise and mentor Assistant Project Managers, Coordinators, and field staff
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders
- Oversee project closeout including punch lists, final inspections, and financial completion
- Support business development efforts through client relationships and industry networking
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6–10 years of project management experience in commercial or residential construction
- Experience managing projects valued at $100M strongly preferred
- High-rise residential experience is a plus
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of construction drawings, contracts, scheduling, and cost control
- Ability to navigate active construction sites
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a collaborative environment
- Experience with client engagement and business development is a plus
