Patient Coordinator

ExecuSource has partnered with a large Urology group and we are assisting them on a search for a Patient Coordinator for their Conyers office!

This a temp-hire opportunity and the Hiring Manager is actively setting up interviews this week and next!

The Patient Coordinator will provide outstanding care in service to patients and physicians. The Patient Coordinator will provide support to the Physician Group and Clinical Staff with patient flow in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet all patients
• Check in/out
• Update, file, and maintain the integrity of all patient data.
• Request patient records from referring offices and follow up with that office to ensure all information is received prior to patient visit as directed.
• Forward medical records to requesting physicians.
• Schedule appointments.
• Verify patient insurance information, prior authorization, and collect payments
• Answer incoming telephone calls and make outbound calls to patients
• Maintain knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  
  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years’ experience providing customer service, preferably within healthcare.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and follow through skills.
• Must be able to interact with team members in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  
  

Other Details:

• Schedule: Mon-Fri, can start as early as 7:30a
• Location: Conyers, GA
• Start Date: Monday, 12/15
• Pay: $18-$20/hour - DOE
• 90 day contract assignment to start with possibility of extending to a permanent role
