Position Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Production Supervisor to lead our newly established 14th production line in Conyers, GA. This critical frontline leadership role supports our Sheet Metal Forming and Machine Operations/Tube Fabrication departments. Reporting to the Focus Factory Manager, you will be responsible for building and directing a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-volume CNC machining environment.

The ideal candidate is a "player-coach" with a deep technical background in metal forming and a proven track record of managing large-scale hourly workforces. You will be tasked with "building the plane while flying it" as we scale our operations, ensuring that safety, quality, and productivity remain uncompromised during this growth phase.

Core Responsibilities

• Frontline Leadership: Directly supervise 2–5 Team Leads and an hourly production workforce of 20–80 employees.
• Technical Oversight: Manage daily operations for sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining, including the oversight of press brakes, shears, punch metal turrets, and specialized T-drill and trans-fluid machines for copper and stainless steel piping.
• Operational Excellence (SQDIPP): Execute the daily management process centered on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, People, and Productivity.
• Performance Metrics: Drive a culture of accountability to maintain low Defects Per Unit (DPU) and ensure 100% adherence to daily production schedules.
• Safety & Compliance: Foster a "Safety First" environment, ensuring zero incidents and strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Inventory Management: Maintain precise control of raw materials and sub-assemblies, partnering with Supply Chain to ensure seamless material flow to the line.
• Continuous Improvement: Utilize data-driven analysis (via Power BI or ERP systems) to identify productivity trends and implement root cause corrective actions.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (3–5 years preferred). A background as a machine operator is highly valued.
• Technical Expertise: Direct experience with CNC machining specific to metal forming. Familiarity with bending copper/stainless steel and operating specialized fabrication machinery is essential.
• Leadership Scope: Proven ability to lead large teams (30–80 personnel) through complex production cycles.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. A 2-year or 4-year degree is preferred for those seeking an accelerated career path into senior management.
• Systems Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Integra) and a general "tech-savvy" approach to production tracking.
