Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, organize, and direct nursing services for the assigned unit
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations
- Address, investigate, and report staff concerns, complaints, and grievances
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications, supplies, and equipment
- Participate in resident assessments and interdisciplinary care planning
- Assign and supervise duties of nursing staff and aides to ensure quality care delivery
- Promote ongoing staff education, training, and professional development
- Review and audit nursing documentation for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with resident needs and preferences
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (no disciplinary actions)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of direct care experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or restorative nursing
- At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting
- Current CPR Certification
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
