Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day nursing operations in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to ensure quality care and proper staffing
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote a positive and productive work environment
- Manage unit scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage and efficiency
- Conduct staff training, competency evaluations, and ongoing performance support
- Ensure accurate and timely MDS documentation; utilize PCC effectively
- Support resident and family communication, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and facility-wide programs
- Active Florida RN license (required)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care or rehabilitation
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with PCC and commitment to patient-centered care
