What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant DON to support daily clinical operations
- Lead, supervise, and mentor nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care
- Address team concerns proactively and escalate when appropriate
- Assist with staffing coordination and scheduling to maintain optimal coverage
- Conduct staff evaluations, coaching, and performance management
- Promote a positive, team-oriented workplace culture
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and facility committees
- Ensure accurate MDS documentation and assist with discharge planning
- Provide compassionate, individualized care to residents and their families
- Active RN license in the State of New Jersey
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking abilities
